Dr. Stacy Enke
Dr. Enke has been a home town veterinarian since 1989. She grew up in Martinez and attended the local schools prior to going on to higher education. She graduated from UC Davis in 1989, and purchased Martinez Animal Hospital from Dr. Monser in 1999 after working with him in the practice for 10 years. Dr. Enke has loved and cared for an assortment animals since a child growing up on a local ranch. She rode her horses and tended to the cows, dogs and cats. She continues to ride the local trails on her horse Poco. Other spare time activities include playing her trombone in the local jazz and concert bands, and score keeping for the high school softball team. Dr. Enke has also dedicated a lot of time and effort into the kitten adoption program which places abandoned or unwanted kittens into loving homes.
Dr. Ryan Mulgrew
Dr. Mulgrew is home grown here in the city of Martinez and attended the local schools before spreading his wings for higher education. He started as a client at Martinez Animal Hospital with the dream of becoming a veterinarian since before he could say the word properly. The pursuit of his dream took him through UC Davis for undergraduate schooling where he also worked in the UCD Vet Hospital before traveling to Ross University for graduate school and completed his residency at Michigan State University. Shortly after graduatio from Ross University in 2018, Dr. Mulgrew began working at Martinez Animal Hospital. Through his journey he has owned and/or cared for an assortment of animals via schooling and by volunteering the local wildlife museum. In his spare time, Dr. Mulgrew loves to do obstacle races, read, and take on craft projects to keep his mind and body stimulated. Aside from a being veterinarian, Dr. Mulgrew is also a high-ranking martial artist in Aikido and a frequenter of the Renaissance Faire.
